Strengthening Our Commitment to Inclusion: Tell Touch in First Nation Languages

In the spirit of NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) Week, a time dedicated to celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, we at Tell Touch are excited to share some important news.

As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and effective communication, we've begun a unique collaboration with Australia Regional and Remote Community Services. The aim? To translate our feedback system into four First Nation languages: Warlpiri, Pitjantjatjara, Westside Kriol, and Yolngu Matha.

Why is this significant?

Our feedback system is a critical tool for understanding the needs, experiences, and voices of those we serve. By offering it in more languages, especially those spoken by our First Nation peoples, we are able to amplify voices that may often go unheard. It's a vital step towards equitable service and more inclusive dialogue.

Australia's First Nation languages embody rich cultural histories and worldviews. They are not just means of communication, but essential elements of identity and cultural preservation. By integrating these languages into our feedback system, we're recognizing their value and making an active commitment to uphold and respect the cultural diversity of the communities we serve.

This initiative is more than translation—it's about respect, recognition, and above all, listening. It's about making sure that every individual, regardless of their language, has the opportunity to express their thoughts, share their experiences, and be heard.

At Tell Touch, we believe everyone's feedback matters. This project is a significant stride towards ensuring our First Nation peoples have an equal platform to voice their perspectives, improving our services, and fostering a culture of inclusivity.

As we celebrate NAIDOC Week, we're reminded of the power of unity, respect, and understanding. Through this project, we're proud to support our First Nation communities and contribute to a future where everyone has a voice.

Stay tuned as we roll out these updates and continue to strive for a more inclusive, understanding, and respectful future.

Happy NAIDOC Week!
